0% Purchase Credit Card

A 0% purchase credit card is a credit card which offers a rate of 0% on purchases for an introductory period, which can be for as long as 12 months before reverting to the card issuers standard variable rate. Some 0% purchase credit cards also offer an introductory rate on balance transfers as well.

With a 0% purchase credit card you can choose to make a purchase now rather than later, of say a flat screen TV or holiday, and then save money by paying it back in installments, interest free for the duration of the introductory purchase period.
