0% Purchase Credit Card

A 0% purchase credit card is a credit card which offers a rate of 0% on purchases for an introductory period, which can be for as long as 9 months before reverting to the card issuers standard variable rate. Some 0% purchase credit cards also offer an introductory rate on balance transfers as well.

With a 0% purchase credit card you can choose to make a purchase now rather than later, of say a flat screen TV or holiday, and then save money by paying it back in installments, interest free for the duration of the introductory purchase period. Credit Card Fraud Falls

The amount of fraud being committed on all types of plastic cards, including credit and debit cards, across the United Kingdom fell in the first half of the year according to industry body Financial Fraud Action UK.
