Lloyds TSB have changed the introductory offer on their Platinum MasterCard credit card which now offers 0% on balance transfers for 14 months, with a handling fee of 3%, and a minimum spend of £100 in the first 3 months, typical 15.9% APR variable. The LLoyds TSB Platinum credit card is a MasterCard which is available online.

In addition to the introductory balance transfer offer, the Lloyds TSB Platinum credit card also offers 0% for 3 months on purchases as well as a fraud loss guarantee and online account management.

At a time when. due to the credit crunch, many credit card companies are increasing their interest rates on their credit card offers, Lloyds TSB have gone the other way and actually reduced the interest rate on the Platinum MasterCard, with the rate reduced form a typical 16.9% APR variable to the new rate of a typical 15.9% APR variable.

The Lloyds Platinum credit card is available to UK residents who are aged over 18 years old and who have a good credit history. The Lloyds TSB Platinum credit card is available for online applications.
