New Barclaycard Breathe Card Offer

The Barclaycard Breathe credit card, a 'green credit card' which gives 50% of all profits to environmentally friendly carbon-reduction projects has changed it's introductory balance transfer offer which is now 0% on balance transfers for 12 months, with a 2.5% fee, typical 14.9% APR variable. The Barclaycard Breathe card is a MasterCard and is available for online applications.

Customers who use their Breathe credit card to spend on public transport instead of using their car, will benefit from a low 5.9 per cent rate on that spending (excludes Transport for London).

The Breathe card offers a range of 'green' discounts and offers from selected retailers and all account management is done online with no paper statements being issued by the card in keeping with it's 'green' credentials.

50% of the net profits after tax, which is independently reviewed, from Barclaycard Breathe will be donated to Pure, the Clean Planet Trust (Registered Charity No. 1112249), to fund government-approved environmental projects. Barclaycard have pledged that a minimum donation of £1 million will be made from the Breathe credit card in the first year.
