Barclaycard have announced that they have launched a new eStore to reward online shoppers as part of the Barclaycard Freedom rewards programme. Barclaycard Freedom is one of the most comprehensive rewards schemes currently available in the UK credit card market and the new eStore will allow eligible Barclaycard customers to earn Reward money from online purchases.

Customers using Barclaycard Freedom automatically earn Reward Money, in pound and pence not points or vouchers, at participating retailers, which they may then be able to redeem on their next transaction at selected stores within the programme. Barclaycard Freedom has over 20,000 retailers within the programme including Goldsmiths, Yo Sushi, Pizza Express, npower, House of Fraser, LA Fitness and Shell.

Sarah Alspach from Barclaycard Freedom said: "Barclaycard Freedom eStore is a unique way of earning Reward Money while shopping online. The 5% promotion will enable our cardholders to strengthen their Reward Money balance and treat themselves in the New Year."

The new eStore is offering customers 5% Reward money on all purchases until the 5th January 2011. The offer expires on the 5th January 2011 or after 40,000 purchases, whichever comes soonest.
