MBNA have announced a new Play.com credit card with an introductory offer of 0% on purchases for 9 months and an interest rate of a typical 16.9% APR variable. The Play.com credit card is a Visa credit card which is available online.

The Play.com credit card also has an introductory offer of 0% on balance transfers for 6 months from account opening with a 1.5% balance transfer fee. The Play.com card earns Play Points for every pound you spend using the card at a rate of 2 Play points for every £1 you spend at Play.com and 1 Play Point for every £1 you spend elsewhere. These Play Points can be redeemed for Play.com gift vouchers which can be used to purchase any of the over 8 million products on the Play.com website including DVD's, games, books, music as well as software, gadgets, games and electronics.

The Play.com credit card offers 1,500 bonus Play Points, which can be redeemed for a £15 voucher, if you spend £150 on the card within 90 days of account opening.. The Play.com credit card is available for online applications to UK residents who are over 18 years in age with a UK bank or building society account and who have a good credit history.
