Virgin Credit Card Contactless Payment

Virgin Money has introduced contactless payments for the Virgin credit card allowing customers to pay for items of £15 or less without having to enter their PIN number. Customers simply need to hold their Virgin card close to the reader and wait for the beep or green light to signify the transaction is complete.

The contactless Virgin credit card can be used anywhere in the UK and worldwide where a merchant displays the contactless symbol. Increasing numbers of merchants including shops, coffee bars and newsagents are now offering contactless payments. Virgin customers will not be liable for any fraudulent contactless transactions made with the Virgin credit card in the same manner that they are not liable for fraudulent Chip and Pin transactions.

The Virgin credit card offers customers 0% on balance transfers for 14 months for transfers made within the first 60 days, with a 2.98% handling fee and a typical 16.6% APR variable and also comes with an introductory offer on purchases with an offer of 0% on card purchases for 3 months.

The Virgin credit card offers a wide range of discounts on other Virgin products, including half price Virgin balloon flights, 1 month free at Virgin Active and 10% off Virgin Holidays and Virgin Wines when you pay using the Virgin credit card.

The Virgin credit card is available for online applications to UK residents who are over 18 years in age with a bank or building society account and a good credit history.
