Platinum Credit Card

Platinum credit cards used to be reserved only for the very top earners, but with a much more competitive UK credit card market now, platinum credit cards are now available to those earning around £20,000 per year. Very few platinum credit cards offer features that are not now available on standard credit cards, and the platinum name is mostly used for marketing, to differentiate one credit card from another.

Platinum cards are now available with a range of different features, some offer introductory rates on balance transfers, some introductory rates on purchases and others offer cash back.
